Complex pricing, handled without a spreadsheet

A worked example
Every choice, on the bill
A custom glove with four upgrades. Each line is a choice the customer made, and its price is the one you set for it.
Change a choice and its line changes. Remove one and its charge goes with it. The customer sees this breakdown as they design, so the total at checkout is never a surprise.

The pricing your products need
Base price from your store
Each product and variant keeps the price it has in your store.
Option upcharges
A web style, a shape, a lining: each option carries its own amount.
Part and material upcharges
Premium leather on the palm costs more than on the back, if you want it to.
Personalisation charges
Per name, per logo or per spot, charged only when it's actually used.
Quantity tiers
Unit prices drop at the quantities you set, for bulk and team orders.
Paid through your store
Each paid option maps to a store variant, so Shopify charges it correctly.
Combinations and rules
Only the combinations you can make
Rules decide which choices go together. A web style only on certain patterns, a leather only in certain colours, a print area only on the larger size. Customers never see a combination the factory would send back.
Where two choices only make sense as a pair, they become one option with one price. On a roster, each player is priced on their own row, so the player who leaves the number blank isn't charged for one.
Rules can
- Hide choices that don't fit
- Change what's offered by size or model
- Tie a choice to a store variant
- Stop offering what's sold out

Questions
What buyers ask us
Can a price depend on two choices together?
Each choice carries its own price, and the total is their sum. Where two choices only make sense together, a rule ties them, and the pair can be one option with its own price.
Are personalisation charges applied when a field is left empty?
No. A name or logo charge applies only when the customer actually uses that spot, and on a roster each row is priced on its own.
Do bulk discounts work across a team order?
Quantity tiers drop the unit price at the quantities you set, so a squad order is priced at the tier its size reaches.
Can a shopper change the price in their browser?
No. The price is calculated on our server and signed, and checked again when the order comes in.
