FlyScroll is not trying to be your store. Shopify is the first channel we built for, and it runs end to end: from the install to the design in your cart.

Shopify app: live

Built and runningToday
  • Install and authorise through Shopify's own OAuth flow
  • As many stores per organization as you run, each access token encrypted at rest
  • A permissions page in plain English, saying why each scope is asked for
  • The uninstall webhook, plus the three mandatory data-privacy webhooks
On your storefrontToday
  • A theme app block that puts the customizer on your product page, no developer needed
  • Products linked in one press, with a code for every variant
  • Prices read live from your store, so a change in Shopify shows in the customizer
  • Add to cart from the last step, upcharges and the signed price on the cart line

The seam

Your cart.
Our price.

The whole integration is one question: how does the money cross from the thing the shopper built to the order your store takes? Our answer is that the price is computed on our side and signed, the cart line carries the design and its signature, and the order intake re-verifies it before anything reaches production.

The cart references the design. The design stays the source of truth.

Questions

Shopify,
specifically

The answers here match what the app actually does. If one of them changes, this page changes with it.

Can we use FlyScroll on Shopify today?

Yes. Install the app, link your products in one press, and the customizer goes on the product page through the app block. Prices follow your store, and the finished design lands in your cart with its signed price.

What does the customizer look like on our product page right now?

It sits inside the product page through the app block, with an add-to-cart on its last step. A launch link still opens it on its own, for a button, an email or a landing page.

What data do you take from our store?

Only what the features need. Products and variants to bind a customizer to, and orders so a design can be matched to the order that bought it. Every scope is listed with its reason on the permissions page, and the listing, the permissions page and the app's actual behaviour are kept telling one story.

Who owns the cart and the customer?

You do. We don't own your cart, your checkout or your customer. Your store does. FlyScroll owns the 3D experience, the configuration, the price of the customization, the saved design and the production output.
