All-over prints that line up
Sublimated products get printed flat and then become a shape, which is why the file matters more here than anywhere else. The canvas is authored in millimetres, at the resolution and colour mode your printer asks for.
In production: a canvas in millimetres at your resolution and colour mode, ordered steps, and each pattern pick mapped to its own print-ready sheet.
A sublimated jersey isn't decorated, it's printed and then built. The artwork has to be right at the size it will be printed, in the colour mode the printer expects, with the seam allowances your factory works to.
So you author the print process against the product once. A canvas with a real width and height in millimetres, a resolution, a colour mode, an ordered list of steps, and the output formats. Every order against that product walks the same path, and that's what makes the output predictable.
The 3D side already knows how big a print area is on the real product, so the canvas borrows those numbers directly. Nobody converts them by hand at midnight.
What you get
- Millimetres, not pixels. Raise the resolution later and everything re-renders sharper, in place.
- The colour mode you print in. RGB, CMYK or greyscale, set per product.
- Repeatable. One recipe, run identically against every order for that product.
- All-over surfaces. Layered designs like camo, gradients and pinstripes, composed and output as one.
