Output
The file the factory actually runs
This is the end of the line most customizers never reach: the artefact production works from, generated from the same design the customer approved.
In production. Canvas, resolution, colour mode, ordered steps and outputs are authored per product.
A screenshot isn't a print file. Neither is a PDF of an order confirmation. Production needs a canvas at a known size, in a known colour mode, at a resolution that holds up on the press, with the customer's own artwork composited into it at the right place and the right scale.
You author that process once per product. The canvas is in real millimetres with its resolution alongside it, the steps run in the order you set, and the outputs arrive in the formats you asked for. Raise the resolution later and everything re-renders sharper without moving.
So the design that was approved in 3D is the design that goes to the machine. No redraw, no interpretation, no email thread.
What you get
- Real units. Millimetres and dpi, borrowed from the print areas on the model.
- Colour mode per product. RGB, CMYK or greyscale, whatever the process needs.
- Ordered steps. Base, pattern, personalisation, finish, run the same way every time.
- Composited from the source. The customer's uploaded pixels, not a preview of them.
